Virginia Tech Receives Record $80m Towards Climate-Smart Farming

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will distribute more than $56 million to producers to enact climate-friendly practices and serve as a pilot program for a national model. It is the largest grant received in the university’s history. Virginia Tech leads the pilot project, known as the Alliance to Advance Climate-Smart Agriculture.
