To “every day do something that won’t compute… say that the leaves are harvested when they have rotted into the mold.” The planting window for these crops is broad here in the upper mid-Atlantic, and I can get a decent cover of perhaps three inches of resilient green leaves prior to the deep winter freeze. This year was weird.
