To keep product in supply, she began asking other sheep farmers in her area if they had any fleeces they weren’t using. Much of the wool was saturated with organic matter such as manure, straw and leaves. This could possibly amount to less nutrient pollution in the waterways in comparison to synthetic fertilizers.
