Syngenta hands off distribution of NK soybeans across Canada

Two years after handing off distribution of its conventional soybean seed portfolio, Syngenta Seeds is making a similar move with its traited NK brand soybeans across Canada. Starting with the 2026 crop season, NK traited soybeans will be distributed by Pitura Seeds in Western Canada and Jackson Seed Service in Eastern Canada.

Syngenta Seeds launches new conventional soybean brand

Conventional soybean varieties from Syngenta Seeds will now be sold under the Silverline brand. The announcement comes after the company announced early this year that it would move to a new licensing and distribution model with two licensees, Hensall Co-op and Jackson Seed Service, for the 2024 crop year.
