Agritecture Blog

Editor’s Note: Based on the unit economics laid out in this article, saffron has 8-10x revenue potential per given cultivation area compared to leafy greens and vine crops grown in CEA systems. VICIOUS VEGANS

The Lunatic Farmer

I wish I knew how many times I’ve been accused of being a murderer, of being unable to love, of encouraging violence in society, all because I eat meat. Worse than that, I produce livestock to be eaten. Sin of all sins. The vegan crowd for a long time has presented itself as the caring movement, the loving movement, the ones who eschew violence. After all, biting into a carrot is certainly not as violent as shedding blood and then eating muscle and sinew.
